WHY CORTONA SYRAH?

Not all grapes translate well to non-alcoholic winemaking. Syrah, particularly from Cortona, is uniquely suited for this craft.

  • Structure That Lasts: Grown in Cortona’s clay-rich soils, our Syrah develops velvety tannins that remain intact even after the alcohol is removed.
  • Aromatic Depth: Using Aroma Capture Technology, we preserve the grape's natural compounds. Expect layers of dark fruit, Mediterranean herbs, and earth.
  • Refined, Not Jammy: Cortona Syrah is elegant. It offers a savory, mineral backbone and natural acidity that keeps the palate fresh and food-friendly.

Funky smell and watery taste

I have a lot of respect for what the brand is doing but anyone who enjoys alcoholic wine will be disappointed with this. It goes without saying this will not be a 1:1 swap for alcoholic wine and can’t be compared in quite the same way, but I expected the aromas and taste to be better and hold up on their own more. It’s not something I would recommend.
